28 years ago Clive and I wed at our local church. My Uncle arrived at my house in his Rolls Royce gleaming in the midday winter sun. The page boys and bridesmaids jumped in and off to the church they went. Shortly afterwards Uncle arrived back , his smiling face and warm welcome gave me the helping hand I needed to start the most important journey of my life. After the ceremony we walked out of the church and there was our wedding car and Uncle smiling holding out his hand to guide me into the wedding car with now my husband. Confetti covered us all and off to the reception we all left in the knowledge we were in safe hands and on our way to the beginning of a new life.
